"(When Abu Razin asked, the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, taught him this supplication to recite when passing by the graves of the people «السلام عليكم يا اهل القبور»: Peace be upon you, O inhabitants of the graves! So he said: O Messenger of Allah! Do they hear? The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, replied: They hear, but they do not have the power to respond.)"
