Hadith 217

انا تكون بعدى رواة يروون عنى الحديث فاعرضوا حديثهم على القرآن فما وافق القرآن فخذوا به وما لم يوافق القرآن فلا تاخذوا به
"Indeed, after me there will be some people who will narrate hadiths from me. You should examine their narrated hadiths against the Qur'an; accept those which are in accordance with the Qur'an, and do not accept those which are not in accordance with the Qur'an."
