Hadith 1456

لن يزال العبد فى فسحة من دينه ما لم يشرب الخمر ، فاذا شربها خرق الله عنه ستره وكان الشيطان وليه وسمعه وبصره ورجله يسوقه الي كل شر ويصرفه عن كل خير
"A servant always remains in ease regarding his religion as long as he does not drink alcohol, but when he drinks alcohol, Allah tears away his veil of modesty, and Satan becomes the guardian of his hearing, sight, and steps. He leads him towards every evil and turns him away from every good deed."
