بَابُ : مَنْ قَرَنَ الْحَجَّ وَالْعُمْرَةَ
Chapter: One who performs Hajj and `Umrah together (Qiran)
Hadith 2968
حَدَّثَنَا نَصْرُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الْجَهْضَمِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْأَعْلَى بْنُ عَبْدِ الْأَعْلَى ، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ أَبِي إِسْحَاق ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ ، قَالَ : خَرَجْنَا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِلَى مَكَّةَ فَسَمِعْتُهُ يَقُولُ : " لَبَّيْكَ عُمْرَةً وَحِجَّةً " .
´It was narrated that Anas bin Malik said:` “We went out with the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) to Makkah, and I heard him say: ‘Labbaika ‘Umratan wa hajjatan [Here I am (O Allah), for ‘Umrah and Hajj].’”
Hadith 2969
حَدَّثَنَا نَصْرُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ ، حَدَّثَنَا حُمَيْدٌ ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ ، أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " لَبَّيْكَ بِعُمْرَةٍ وَحِجَّةٍ " .
´It was narrated from Anas that the Prophet (ﷺ) said:` “Labbaika bi-‘Umratin wa hajjatin [Here I am (O Allah), for ‘Umrah and Hajj].”
Hadith 2970
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ ، وَهِشَامُ بْنُ عَمَّارٍ ، قَالَا : حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ ، عَنْ عَبْدَةَ بْنِ أَبِي لُبَابَةَ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ أَبَا وَائِلٍ شَقِيقَ بْنَ سَلَمَةَ ، يَقُولُ : سَمِعْتُ الصُّبَيَّ بْنَ مَعْبَدٍ ، يَقُولُ : " كُنْتُ رَجُلًا نَصْرَانِيًّا فَأَسْلَمْتُ ، فَأَهْلَلْتُ بِالْحَجِّ وَالْعُمْرَةِ ، فَسَمِعَنِي سَلْمَانُ بْنُ رَبِيعَةَ ، وَزَيْدُ بْنُ صُوحَانَ ، وَأَنَا أُهِلُّ بِهِمَا جَمِيعًا بِالْفَارِسِيَّةِ ، فَقَالَا : لَهَذَا أَضَلُّ مِنْ بَعِيرِهِ ، فَكَأَنَّمَا حَمَلَا عَلَيَّ جَبَلًا بِكَلِمَتِهِمَا فَقَدِمْتُ عَلَى عُمَرَ بْنِ الْخَطَّابِ فَذَكَرْتُ ذَلِكَ لَهُ ، فَأَقْبَلَ عَلَيْهِمَا فَلَامَهُمَا ، ثُمَّ أَقْبَلَ عَلَيَّ ، فَقَالَ : هُدِيتَ لِسُنَّةِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، هُدِيتَ لِسُنَّةِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " ، قَالَ هِشَامٌ فِي حَدِيثِهِ : قَالَ شَقِيقٌ : فَكَثِيرًا مَا ذَهَبْتُ أَنَا وَمَسْرُوقٌ نَسْأَلُهُ عَنْهُ .
Sabi bin Ma’bad says: I was a Christian, then I accepted Islam and put on the ihram for both Hajj and ‘Umrah together. Salman bin Rabi’ah and Zayd bin Suhan heard me reciting the talbiyah for both Hajj and ‘Umrah together at Qadisiyyah, so both of them said: “He is even more ignorant than his camel.” What they said felt as if a mountain had been placed upon me. I went to ‘Umar bin Khattab (may Allah be pleased with him) and mentioned this to him. He turned to both of them and reproached them, then turned to me and said: “You have found the Sunnah of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), you have found the Sunnah of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him).” In his narration, Hisham says that Shaqiq said: “Both I and Masruq repeatedly went to Sabi bin Ma’bad to ask him about this hadith.”
Hadith 2970M
حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ ، وَأَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ وَخَالِي يَعْلَى ، قَالُوا : حَدَّثَنَا الْأَعْمَشُ ، عَنْ شَقِيقٍ ، عَنْ الصُّبَيِّ بْنِ مَعْبَدٍ ، قَالَ : كُنْتُ حَدِيثَ عَهْدٍ بِنَصْرَانِيَّةٍ فَأَسْلَمْتُ ، فَلَمْ آلُ أَنْ أَجْتَهِدَ ، فَأَهْلَلْتُ بِالْحَجِّ وَالْعُمْرَةِ فَذَكَرَ نَحْوَهُ .
Sabi bin Ma'bad said: I had accepted Islam only a short time ago from Christianity. I did not leave any deficiency in performing acts of worship. I assumed the Ihram for both Hajj and Umrah together. Then he narrated this hadith in the same manner as mentioned above.
Hadith 2971
حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ ، حَدَّثَنَا حَجَّاجٌ ، عَنْ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ ، عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو طَلْحَةَ " أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَرَنَ الْحَجَّ وَالْعُمْرَةَ " .
´It was narrated that Ibn ‘Abbas said:` “Abu Talhah told me that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) performed Hajj and ‘Umrah together (Qiran).”
