بَابُ : الْمُحْرِمَةِ تَسْدِلُ الثَّوْبَ عَلَى وَجْهِهَا
Chapter: The female Muhrim may lower her garment over her face
Hadith 2935
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ فُضَيْلٍ ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ أَبِي زِيَادٍ ، عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، قَالَتْ : " كُنَّا مَعَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَنَحْنُ مُحْرِمُونَ ، فَإِذَا لَقِيَنَا الرَّاكِبُ أَسْدَلْنَا ثِيَابَنَا مِنْ فَوْقِ رُءُوسِنَا ، فَإِذَا جَاوَزَنَا رَفَعْنَاهَا " .
Umm al-Mu'minin Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) says: We were in the state of Ihram with the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). When a rider would pass by us, we would let our cloth hang down from our heads, and when the rider had passed, we would lift it up again. 1
Hadith 2935M
حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ إِدْرِيسَ ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ أَبِي زِيَادٍ ، عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِنَحْوِهِ .
‘With this chain also,’ it is narrated in a marfu‘ form from Umm al-Mu’minin ‘A’ishah (may Allah be pleased with her) in the same manner.
