بَابُ : الأَكْفَاءِ
Chapter: Compatibility
Hadith 1967
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سَابُورَ الرَّقِّيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْحَمِيدِ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ الْأَنْصَارِيُّ أَخُو فُلَيْحٍ ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَجْلَانَ ، عَنْ ابْنِ وَثِيمَةَ النَّصْرِيّ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " إِذَا أَتَاكُمْ مَنْ تَرْضَوْنَ خُلُقَهُ وَدِينَهُ ، فَزَوِّجُوهُ إِلَّا تَفْعَلُوا تَكُنْ فِتْنَةٌ فِي الْأَرْضِ وَفَسَادٌ عَرِيضٌ " .
´It was narrated from Abu Hurairah:` that the Messenger of Allah said: "If there comes to you one with whose character and religious commitment you are pleased, then marry (your daughter or female relative under your care) to him, for if you do not do that there will be Fitnah in the land and widespread corruption.'"
Hadith 1968
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا الْحَارِثُ بْنُ عِمْرَانَ الْجَعْفَرِيُّ ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، قَالَتْ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " تَخَيَّرُوا لِنُطَفِكُمْ ، وَانْكِحُوا الْأَكْفَاءَ وَأَنْكِحُوا إِلَيْهِمْ " .
´It was narrated from 'Aishah:` that the Messenger of Allah said: "Choose the best for your sperm, and marry compatible women and propose marriage to them."'
