. بَابُ : مَا جَاءَ فِيمَا إِذَا أَخَّرُوا الصَّلاَةَ عَنْ وَقْتِهَا
Chapter: What was narrated concerning delaying the Prayer beyond its time
Hadith 1255
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الصَّبَّاحِ ، أَنْبَأَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ عَيَّاشٍ ، عَنْ عَاصِمٍ ، عَنْ زِرٍّ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " لَعَلَّكُمْ سَتُدْرِكُونَ أَقْوَامًا يُصَلُّونَ الصَّلَاةَ لِغَيْرِ وَقْتِهَا ، فَإِنْ أَدْرَكْتُمُوهُمْ فَصَلُّوا فِي بُيُوتِكُمْ لِلْوَقْتِ الَّذِي تَعْرِفُونَ ، ثُمَّ صَلُّوا مَعَهُمْ ، وَاجْعَلُوهَا سُبْحَةً " .
´It was narrated that ‘Abdullah bin Mas’ud said:` “The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: ‘You may come across people who offer a prayer at the wrong time. If you meet them, then perform prayer in your houses at the time that you know, then pray with them and make that voluntary.”
Hadith 1256
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنْ أَبِي عِمْرَانَ الْجَوْنِيِّ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الصَّامِتِ ، عَنْ أَبِي ذَرٍّ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " صَلِّ الصَّلَاةَ لِوَقْتِهَا ، فَإِنْ أَدْرَكْتَ الْإِمَامَ يُصَلِّي بِهِمْ فَصَلِّ مَعَهُمْ ، وَقَدْ أَحْرَزْتَ صَلَاتَكَ ، وَإِلَّا فَهِيَ نَافِلَةٌ لَكَ " .
´It was narrated from Abu Dharr that the Prophet (ﷺ) said:` “Offer prayer on time, and if you reached the Imam leading them in prayers (on time), then perform it with them, and you will be safe with your prayer, otherwise it will be voluntary for you.”
Hadith 1257
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أَحْمَدَ ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ ، عَنْ هِلَالِ بْنِ يَسَافٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي الْمُثَنَّى ، عَنْ أَبِي أُبَيٍّ ابْنِ امْرَأَةِ عُبَادَةَ بْنِ الصَّامِتِ يَعْنِي : عَنْ عُبَادَةَ بْنِ الصَّامِتِ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " سَيَكُونُ أُمَرَاءُ تَشْغَلُهُمْ أَشْيَاءُ يُؤَخِّرُونَ الصَّلَاةَ عَنْ وَقْتِهَا ، فَاجْعَلُوا صَلَاتَكُمْ مَعَهُمْ تَطَوُّعًا " .
´It was narrated from ‘Ubadah bin Samit that the Prophet (ﷺ) said:` “There will be leaders who will be distracted by matters and they will delay the prayer until after its proper time. So make your prayer with them voluntary.”
