. بَابُ : مَا جَاءَ فِيمَنْ قَامَ مِنَ اثْنَتَيْنِ سَاهِيًا
Chapter: What was narrated concerning one who stands up after two Rak’ah by mistake
Hadith 1206
حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ ، وَأَبُو بَكْرٍ ابْنَا أَبِي شَيْبَةَ ، وَهِشَامُ بْنُ عَمَّارٍ ، قَالُوا : حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، عَنِ الْأَعْرَجِ ، عَنِ ابْنِ بُحَيْنَةَ ، أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " صَلَّى صَلَاةً أَظُنُّ أَنَّهَا الظُّهْرُ ، فَلَمَّا كَانَ فِي الثَّانِيَةِ قَامَ قَبْلَ أَنْ يَجْلِسَ ، فَلَمَّا كَانَ قَبْلَ أَنْ يُسَلِّمَ سَجَدَ سَجْدَتَيْنِ " .
´It was narrated from Ibn Buhainah:` “The Prophet (ﷺ) offered prayer, I think it was the ‘Asr, and in the second Rak’ah he stood up before he sat. Before he said the Salam, he prostrated twice.”
Hadith 1207
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ نُمَيْرٍ ، وَابْنُ فُضَيْلٍ ، وَيَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ . ح وحَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو خَالِدٍ الْأَحْمَرُ ، وَيَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ ، وَأَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ كُلُّهُمْ لَهُمْ ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الْأَعْرَجِ ، أَنَّ ابْنَ بُحَيْنَةَ أَخْبَرَهُ ، أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " قَامَ فِي ثِنْتَيْنِ مِنَ الظُّهْرِ ، نَسِيَ الْجُلُوسَ حَتَّى إِذَا فَرَغَ مِنْ صَلَاتِهِ إِلَّا أَنْ يُسَلِّمَ ، سَجَدَ سَجْدَتَيِ السَّهْوِ وَسَلَّمَ " .
It was narrated from ‘Abdur-Rahman Al-A’raj that Ibn Buhainah told him that the Prophet (ﷺ) stood up in the second Rak’ah of Zuhr and forgot to sit. When he had finished his prayer, and before he said the Salam, he performed the two prostrations for forgetfulness (Sahw) and said the Salam.
Hadith 1208
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ ، عَنِ الْمُغِيرَةِ بْنِ شُبَيْلٍ ، عَنْ قَيْسِ بْنِ أَبِي حَازِمٍ ، عَنِ الْمُغِيرَةِ بْنِ شُعْبَةَ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " إِذَا قَامَ أَحَدُكُمْ مِنَ الرَّكْعَتَيْنِ فَلَمْ يَسْتَتِمَّ قَائِمًا فَلْيَجْلِسْ ، فَإِذَا اسْتَتَمَّ قَائِمًا فَلَا يَجْلِسْ ، وَيَسْجُدْ سَجْدَتَيِ السَّهْوِ " .
´It was narrated that Mughirah bin Shu’bah said:` “The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: ‘If anyone of you stands after two Rak’ah, if he has not yet stood up fully, let him sit down again, but if he has stood up fully, then let him not sit down, and let him perform two prostrations for forgetfulness (Sahw).’”
