بَابُ : الرُّخْصَةِ بِفَضْلِ وَضُوءِ الْمَرْأَةِ
Chapter: Concession regarding water left over from a woman's ablution
Hadith 370
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْأَحْوَصِ ، عَنْ سِمَاكِ بْنِ حَرْبٍ ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ ، عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، قَالَ : " اغْتَسَلَ بَعْضُ أَزْوَاجِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي جَفْنَةٍ ، فَجَاءَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لِيَغْتَسِلَ ، أَوْ يَتَوَضَّأَ ، فَقَالَتْ : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ إِنِّي كُنْتُ جُنُبًا ، قَالَ : " الْمَاءُ لَا يُجْنِبُ " .
´It was narrated that Ibn 'Abbas said:` "One of the wives of the Prophet took a bath from a large vessel, then the Prophet came and had a bath or ablution, and she said: 'O Messenger of Allah, I was sexually impure.' He said: 'Water does not become impure.'"
Hadith 371
حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ ، عَنْ سِمَاكِ بْنِ حَرْبٍ ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ : " أَنَّ امْرَأَةً مِنْ أَزْوَاجِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ اغْتَسَلَتْ مِنْ جَنَابَةٍ ، فَتَوَضَّأَ ، أَوِ اغْتَسَلَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِنْ فَضْلِ وَضُوئِهَا " .
´It was narrated from Ibn 'Abbas that:` One of the wives of the Prophet took a bath to cleanse herself from sexual impurity, then the Prophet performed ablution and had a bath with the water left over from her ablution."
Hadith 372
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى ، وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى ، وَإِسْحَاق بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ ، قَالُوا : حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ ، حَدَّثَنَا شَرِيكٌ ، عَنْ سِمَاكٍ ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، عَنْ مَيْمُونَةَ زَوْجِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " تَوَضَّأَ بِفَضْلِ غُسْلِهَا مِنَ الْجَنَابَةِ " .
´It was narrated from Ibn 'Abbas, from Maimunah the wife of the Prophet, that :` the Prophet performed ablution with the water left over after she had taken a bath to cleanse herself from sexual impurity.
