Chapter: Prayer in congregation on a rainy night
Hadith 937
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الصَّبَّاحِ ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ ، عَنْ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، قَال : " كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُنَادِي مُنَادِيهِ فِي اللَّيْلَةِ الْمَطِيرَةِ ، أَوِ اللَّيْلَةِ الْبَارِدَةِ ذَاتِ الرِّيحِ صَلُّوا فِي رِحَالِكُمْ " .
´It was narrated that Ibn ‘Umar said:` “On rainy nights or on cold windy nights, the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) would summon his announcer to call out: ‘Perform your prayer at your camps.’”
