بَابُ : الصَّلاَةِ عَلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَChapter: Sending peace and blessings upon the Prophet (saws)
Hadith 908
اُردوEn
حَدَّثَنَا جُبَارَةُ بْنُ الْمُغَلِّسِ ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ دِينَارٍ ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ زَيْدٍ ، عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " مَنْ نَسِيَ الصَّلَاةَ عَلَيَّ خَطِئَ طَرِيقَ الْجَنَّةِ " .
´It was narrated that Ibn ‘Abbas said:` “The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: ‘Whoever forgets to send peace and blessings upon me, then he has missed the road to Paradise.’”

Our esteemed researcher has declared the mentioned narration to be weak in terms of its chain of transmission.
Whereas other scholars have deemed it authentic based on supporting evidences.

Good deeds lead to Paradise.
A person who is negligent of such a great good deed as sending blessings (salat) upon the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam,
will also be negligent of many other good deeds.
And for such a person, entering Paradise will be difficult.
