´It was narrated that Ibn Abu Awfa said:` “When the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) raised his head from Ruku’, he said: ‘Sami’ Allahu liman hamidah, Allahumma, Rabbana lakal-hamd, mil’ as-samawati wa mil’ al- ard wa mil’ ma shi’ta min shay’in ba’d (Allah hears those who praise Him. O Allah! O our Lord, to You is the praise as much as fills the heavens, as much as fills the earth and as much as You will after that).’”

Benefits and Issues:
➊
The primary purpose of prayer (salah) is the remembrance of Allah.
The command of the Lord is:
﴿وَأَقِمِ الصَّلَاةَ لِذِكْرِي﴾ (Ta-Ha: 14)
“Establish the prayer for My remembrance.” For this reason, the Messenger of Allah (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) taught us many supplications (adhkar) to recite during the bowing (ruku‘), prostration (sujud), standing (qiyam), sitting (jalsah), etc., of the prayer.
These supplications and prayers should be memorized,
and should be recited regularly in the prayers.
Especially in the night prayer (tahajjud), one should strive to attain as much reward and closeness to Allah as possible by reciting lengthy supplications and remembrances.
➋
In some narrations, after the above words, this addition is found:
(أَهْلَ الثَّنَاءِ وَالْمَجْدِ، لَا مَانِعَ لِمَا أَعْطَيْتَ، وَلَا مُعْطِيَ لِمَا مَنَعْتَ، وَلَا يَنْفَعُ ذَا الْجَدِّ مِنْكَ الْجَدُّ)
“O Possessor of praise and majesty! Whatever a servant says in Your praise, the truest statement is this, and we are all Your servants.
O Allah! Whatever You grant, none can withhold, and whatever You withhold, none can give.
The grandeur of any (worldly) person of status cannot benefit him in saving himself from Your wrath.”
(Sahih Muslim, The Book of Prayer, Chapter: What is to be said when raising the head from bowing, Hadith: 477)
