Commentary:
(1)
In this, there is encouragement for those people to perform prayer in congregation (salah bi-jama‘ah) whose residence is far from the mosque.

(2)
If some hardship or difficulty arises in acts of righteousness, one should not be disheartened by it. Because the one who endures hardship will also receive greater reward.

(3)
Unnecessarily subjecting oneself to hardship is not required in the Shari‘ah; however, adopting an attitude of inaction and laziness under the pretext of ease in the Shari‘ah is also not correct. One should remain steadfast upon the path of moderation, avoiding both excess and negligence.
