´It was narrated that Abu Sa'eed Al-Khudri said:` "The Messenger of Allah said: 'Whoever leaves his house for the prayer and says: 'Allahumma inni asa'luka bi-haqqis-sa'ilina 'alaika, wa as'aluka bi-haqqi mamshaya hadha, fa inni lam akhruj asharan wa la batran, wa la riya'an, wa la sum'atan, wa kharajtu-ttiqa'a sukhtika wabtigha'a mardatika, fa as'aluka an tu'idhani minan-nari wa an taghfira li dhunubi, Innahu la yaghfirudh-dhunuba illa Anta. (O Allah, I ask You by the right that those who ask of You have over You, and I ask by virtue of this walking of mine, for I am not going out because of pride or vanity, or to show off or make a reputation, rather I am going out because I fear Your wrath and seek Your pleasure. So I ask You to protect me from the Fire and to forgive me my sins, for no one can forgive sins except You),' Allah will turn His Face towards him and seventy thousand angels will pray for his forgiveness."

Brief Explanation
1؎ : Although there is no such right upon Allah that would be obligatory for Him to fulfill, for He is our Owner and Sovereign—He does as He wills, and no one has the power to even question Him—yet, our Master, out of His grace and bounty, has taken upon Himself the rights of His servants, which He will certainly fulfill, because He is truthful and His promise is true. This is the doctrine of Ahl al-Sunnah. The Mu'tazilah, in their misguidance, think that it is obligatory upon Allah to admit the righteous servants into Paradise and to punish the wicked, but we say that Allah has indeed promised this, yet nothing is obligatory upon Him, nor does anyone have any power over Him, nor does anyone have the ability to object to Him in the slightest. If He wills, He can, in an instant, forgive all the evildoers, disbelievers, and hypocrites, and admit them into Paradise, and cast all the righteous, devout, and pious servants into Hell. In short, all of this is possible in terms of His power, and He has such authority, even though this will not actually occur, because His promise is true, and He has promised that He will admit the righteous servants into Paradise and the disbelievers into Hell, and so it shall be.
