Commentary:
Hadith 534–535 states that the body of a person in a state of major ritual impurity (junub) is not impure, meaning that ritual impurity (janabah) is not like physical impurity (such as urine, etc.). In this regard, if a man, after performing the ritual bath (ghusl), lies down with his wife who is in a state of major ritual impurity (junub), there is no harm. However, this hadith is weak; therefore, one should refrain from presenting it as an action of the Messenger of Allah (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam).
