Brief Explanation
1؎ : If a traveler has put on leather socks (khuffayn) after performing ablution (wudu), then he may wipe over them for three days and three nights. It should be noted that the time when he put them on is not taken into account; rather, the time from which he began wiping over the socks for prayer is what is considered. Also, if the need for a ritual bath (ghusl) arises, then the socks must be removed.
