´Fadl bin Mubashshir said:` "I saw Jabir bin 'Abdullah performing every prayer with one ablution, and I said: 'What is this?' He said: 'I saw the Messenger of Allah doing this, and I am doing as the Messenger of Allah did.'"

Commentary:

If one sees a scholar performing an act that was previously unknown to them, then asking the scholar about it or requesting evidence is not contrary to respect.
(2)
If a layperson criticizes something a scholar has said, the scholar should not express displeasure but should instead clarify the issue.
(3)
This narration is weak in terms of its chain of transmission, but its meaning is correct, as has been mentioned in the previous narration.
