قَالَ أَبُو الْحَسَنِ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ : حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو حَاتِمٍ . ح وَحَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ يُوسُفَ التَّنِّيسِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنِ لَهِيعَةَ ، فَذَكَرَ نَحْوَهُ .

Commentary:
This narration is weak in its chain of transmission; however, from other ahadith it is established that Jibril (alayhis salam) taught the Prophet (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) the method of ablution (wudu).
Similarly, sprinkling water on the private area after ablution is also established from other authentic (sahih) and good (hasan) grade ahadith.
