Hadith 4304

حَدَّثَنَا نَصْرُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ , حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي , حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامٌ , عَنْ قَتَادَةَ , عَنْ أَنَسٍ , قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " مَا بَيْنَ نَاحِيَتَيْ حَوْضِي كَمَا بَيْنَ صَنْعَاءَ وَالْمَدِينَةِ , أَوْ كَمَا بَيْنَ الْمَدِينَةِ وَعُمَانَ " .
´It was narrated from Anas that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:` “The distance between the two ends of my Cistern is like the distance between San’a and Al-Madinah,’ or ‘between Al-Madinah and ‘Amman.’”

Benefits and Issues:
The highest and most elevated status for a wealthy person is that he continues to spend his wealth, rather than hoarding or accumulating it. However, attaining this highest rank is not within the capacity of every wealthy individual. Therefore, this is merely an encouragement and a recommended (mustahabb) matter; it is not obligatory or necessary.
