Hadith 4286

حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ عَمَّارٍ , حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيل بْنُ عَيَّاشٍ , حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ زِيَادٍ الْأَلْهَانِيُّ , قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ أَبَا أُمَامَةَ الْبَاهِلِيَّ , يَقُولُ : سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ , يَقُولُ : " وَعَدَنِي رَبِّي سُبْحَانَهُ أَنْ يُدْخِلَ الْجَنَّةَ مِنْ أُمَّتِي سَبْعِينَ أَلْفًا , لَا حِسَابَ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلَا عَذَابَ , مَعَ كُلِّ أَلْفٍ سَبْعُونَ أَلْفًا وَثَلَاثُ حَثَيَاتٍ مِنْ حَثَيَاتِ رَبِّي عَزَّ وَجَلَّ " .
´Abu Umamah Al-Bahili said:` “I heard the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) say: ‘My Lord has promised me that seventy thousand of my nation will enter Paradise without being brought to account or punished. With every thousand will be (another) seventy thousand, and three handfuls of my Lord, the Glorified.’”

Benefits and Issues:

Allah’s mercy is exceedingly great.
➋
Attaining nearness to Allah and achieving the highest ranks is possible even after the era of the noble Companions (radi Allahu anhum ajma‘in). Even now, if a person performs such deeds for which the reward is entry into Paradise without reckoning, he will not be deprived of that reward. Just as it is still possible to perform those actions which result in being granted a place under the shade of Allah’s Throne.

With every thousand, there are seventy thousand—meaning, in addition to the seventy thousand, forty-nine hundred thousand more will enter Paradise without reckoning.
➍ (Handfuls) (Scoops)
That is, the amount taken with both hands full—by this is meant a great multitude of servants, who will be sent to Paradise without any reckoning. And this will happen three times; their number is known to none but Allah.
