´It was narrated from Abu Sa’eed that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:` “The two who are entrusted with the Trumpet have two horns in their hands, waiting until they will be commanded (to blow them).”
Explanation & Benefits
Maulana Ataullah Sajid
Benefits and Issues:
(1)
The "soor" (horn) is a type of bugle that was made from the horn of an animal.
(2)
The mentioned narration is weak. However, regarding the blowing of the horn, the Noble Qur’an contains this divine statement, the meaning of which is: “And the horn will be blown, and whoever is in the heavens and the earth will fall unconscious, except whom Allah wills. Then it will be blown a second time, and suddenly they will be standing, looking on.” ( al-Zumar: 39, 68)
(3)
The reality and nature of the horn (soor) is known only to Allah. We should have faith in what has been conveyed to us regarding it.

Benefit:
It is established from this that the blowing of the Trumpet (Sur) is a reality, and the angel who is to blow the Trumpet is awaiting the command of Allah, the Exalted. The statement of Allah, the Exalted, is: ﴿يَوْمَ يُنفَخُ فِي الصُّورِ﴾ (al-An‘am 73)
“The Day when the Trumpet will be blown.”
Our belief is that the Trumpet will be blown twice: with the first blowing, all living beings will die; with the second blowing, all the dead will be brought back to life.
