Narrated Abu Bakrah: The Prophet ﷺ said: There is no sin more fitted to have punishment meted out by Allah to its perpetrator in advance in this world along with what He stores up for him in the next world than oppression and severing ties of relationship.

Benefits and Issues: The meaning is that rebellion and transgression (oppression and excess) and severing of kinship ties are two crimes such that, in addition to the punishment in the Hereafter, Allah Ta’ala generally gives their punishment quickly in this world as well. Therefore, one should avoid severing kinship ties and also avoid oppression and transgression.
