´It was narrated that Anas bin Malik said:` “If a female slave among the people of Al-Madinah were to take the hand of the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ), he would not take his hand away from hers until she had taken him wherever she wanted in Al-Madinah so that her needs may be met.”

Brief Explanation
1؎: This was the extent of your humility, that you would go along with a slave-girl and fulfill her task, even though you were the most superior and exalted among all creation, and the greatest kings of the world were, in rank, less than even the servant of your servant.

Benefits and Issues: ➊ One should treat the weaker members of society with greater compassion.
➋ A leader or imam should not hesitate to assist someone, even if that person is of bad character.
➌ In times of necessity, it is permissible to go somewhere with a non-mahram woman, provided that there is no fear of suspicion arising in people's hearts and there is no seclusion (khalwah).
