´It was narrated from Abu Sa’eed Al-Khudri that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:` “Woe to the most wealthy except those who do such and such with the money, and such and such” – four things, (pointing) to his right, to his left, in front of him and behind him.

Hadith Gradingزبیر علی زئی:ضعيف, إسناده ضعيف, محمد بن أبي ليلي و عطية العوفي ضعيفان, و روي أحمد (428/2 ح 9526) عن النبي ﷺ قال: ((المكثرون ھم الأسفلون إلا من قال بالمال ھكذا و ھكذا و ھكذا،أمامه و عن يمينه وعن شماله و عن خلفه۔)) و سنده حسن وھو يغني عنه, انوار الصحيفه، صفحه نمبر 526

Benefits and Issues:
➊ Wealth is accumulated through greed and miserliness, and both of these are blameworthy traits.
➋ It is necessary to spend wealth earned through lawful means in the way of Allah and on righteous deeds; spending wealth solely on personal comforts and luxuries is not correct.
➌ The generous person is protected from destruction because his wealth becomes a means for an increase in his good deeds. The more he spends, the more he will be deserving of higher ranks in Paradise.
