Explanation & Benefits
Maulana Ataullah Sajid
Benefits and Issues:
In terms of entering Paradise first, this honor is granted to the poor emigrants (muhajirun). However, due to certain other reasons, some wealthy Companions (radi Allahu anhum) may also share in this honor. Similarly, if the wealthy Companions performed more deeds—for example: if they migrated earlier and participated in more battles (ghazawat)—then their ranks may be higher in this regard.

Shaykh Dr. Abdur Rahman Freywai
Explanation:
1:
This is because the poor emigrant (muhajir) had little wealth,
therefore, he will not be delayed much in the reckoning,
whereas the wealthy emigrants will be greatly delayed due to the accounting of their wealth.
From this, the virtue of the poor is understood.
Half a day in the Hereafter will be equivalent to five hundred years of this world,
so in the hadith where half a day is mentioned, it refers to half a day of the Hereafter.
