´It was narrated from Anas bin Malik that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:` "Hasten to do good deeds (before) six things (happen): The rising of the sun from the west (place of its setting), the smoke, the beast of the earth, Dajjal (False Christ), that which will happen to each of you (death); and that which will happen to all people (the Day of Resurrection)."

Benefits and Issues:

When the sun rises from the west, the door of repentance will be closed.
Therefore, it is necessary to arrange for salvation by sincerely repenting before that time.

Abdullah ibn Mas'ud radi Allahu anhu used to say that the prophecy regarding the smoke has already been fulfilled.
When the Messenger of Allah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam supplicated against the Quraysh due to their disbelief and oppression, a famine was imposed upon them, to the extent that, because of hunger, they perceived nothing but smoke even though the atmosphere was clear. (Sahih al-Bukhari, Tafsir, Surah Ha Mim al-Dukhan, Chapter: (He will cover the people, this is a painful punishment), Hadith: 4861)
However, Anas radi Allahu anhu was among the Ansar; after the Hijrah of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, he began to serve the Messenger of Allah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, whereas the incident mentioned by Ibn Mas'ud radi Allahu anhu pertains to the Makkan period.

Righteous deeds can be earned during one's lifetime; after death, this opportunity ends. Therefore, one should make the most of this opportunity.

There are many tribulations in which a person can go astray. By performing good deeds beforehand, one can hope that during such tribulations, guidance and success from Allah will be granted.
