حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو جَعْفَرٍ النُّفَيْلِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا زُهَيْرُ بْنُ مُعَاوِيَةَ ، عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ ، عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " إِذَا تَوَضَّأْتُمْ فَابْدَءُوا بِمَيَامِنِكُمْ " .
´It was narrated that Abu Hurairah said:` "The Messenger of Allah said: 'When you perform ablution, start on the right.'" (Da'if) Another chain with similar wording.

Although this narration is weak in its chain of transmission, its meaning is authentic, as established by other authentic narrations. It is proven that the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam preferred and loved to begin every good deed with the right side.
