Explanation & Benefits
Maulana Ataullah Sajid
The aforementioned narration has been declared weak in its chain of transmission by our esteemed researcher, whereas hadith number 398 of this same chapter has been declared hasan, in which the words are: (لَا صَلَاةَ لِمَنْ لَا وُضُوءَ لَهُ وَلَا وُضُوءَ لِمَنْ لَمْ يَذْكُرْ اسْمَ اللَّهِ عَلَيْهِ) — "There is no prayer for the one who does not perform ablution (wudu), and there is no ablution for the one who does not mention the name of Allah over it."

And in the aforementioned narration, there is this addition: (وَلَا صَلَاةَ لِمَنْ لَا يُصَلِّي عَلَى النَّبِيِّ وَلَا صَلَاةَ لِمَنْ لَا يُحِبُّ الْأَنْصَارَ) — "And there is no prayer for the one who does not send blessings upon the Prophet, and there is no prayer for the one who does not love the Ansar."

No supporting evidence could be found for this addition. On this basis, it is neither authoritative nor actionable.

Most likely for this reason, Shaykh al-Albani rahimahullah also declared the rest of the narration as hasan except for the last two sentences. See: (Sahih Ibn Majah, Hadith: 326; al-Da‘ifah, Hadith: 4706/2167)
