بَابُ : كَفِّ اللِّسَانِ فِي الْفِتْنَةِ
Chapter: Restraining one's tongue during times of tribulation
Hadith 3971
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ , حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْأَحْوَصِ , عَنْ أَبِي حَصِينٍ , عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ , عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ , قَالَ : قَال رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " مَنْ كَانَ يُؤْمِنُ بِاللَّهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الْآخِرِ , فَلْيَقُلْ خَيْرًا أَوْ لِيَسْكُتْ " .
´It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:` “Whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day, let him say something good, or else remain silent.”
