´It was narrated from Jabir that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:` “I have been commanded to fight the people until they say: La ilaha illallah. If they say: La ilaha illallah, then their blood and wealth are protected from me, except for a right that is due from it, and their reckoning will be with Allah.”

´Jabir narrated that :` the Messenger of Allah said: “I have been ordered to fight the people until they say: ‘La ilaha illallah’. So when they say that, their blood and their wealth are safe from me, except for a right, and their reckoning is for Allah.” Then he recited: So remind them – you are only one who reminds. You are not a dictator over them.

Explanation: 1: You are only a warner; you are not a guardian over them (al-Ghashiyah: 22).
2: Apparently, there seems to be a contradiction between the hadith of this chapter and this verse. Imam Nawawi rahimahullah states that at the time of the revelation of this verse, the command for fighting (qital) had not been given; it was given later.
