بَابُ : عَلاَمَ تُعْبَرُ بِهِ الرُّؤْيَاChapter: How Should Dreams be Interpreted
Hadith 3915

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ نُمَيْرٍ , حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي , حَدَّثَنَا الْأَعْمَشُ , عَنْ يَزِيدَ الرَّقَاشِيِّ , عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ , قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " اعْتَبِرُوهَا بِأَسْمَائِهَا , وَكَنُّوهَا بِكُنَاهَا , وَالرُّؤْيَا لِأَوَّلِ عَابِرٍ " .
´It was narrated from Anas bin Malik that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:` “Interpret them (dreams) in accordance with the names of the things you see, and understand what is hinted at, and the dream is for the first interpreter.”

The esteemed researcher has declared the chain of narration of the mentioned report to be weak.
