´It was narrated from Abu Salam, the servant of the Prophet (saas), that :` the Prophet (saas) said: "There is no Muslim - or no person, or slave (of Allah) - who says, in the morning and evening: 'Radaytu billahi Rabban wa bil-Islami dinan wa bi Muhammadin nabiyyan (I am content with Allah as my Lord, Islam as my religion and Muhammad as my Prophet),' but he will have a promise from Allah to make him pleased on the Day of Resurrection."

Benefits and Issues:
The summary of Hafiz Ibn Hajar’s statement regarding Abu Salam is that the narrator made a mistake; in reality, Abu Salam himself was not a servant of the Prophet (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam). Nor is he mentioned among the servants of the Prophet (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam). Rather, he narrated from a Companion who served the Prophet (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam). And his name is “Mamtoor al-Aswad al-Haythi.” And he is not a Companion. His narrations are mursal (narrations with a missing link between the Successor and the Prophet). See (Taqreeb al-Tahdheeb). Furthermore, our esteemed researcher and other scholars have also indicated this, and have affirmed the position of Hafiz Ibn Hajar.
