´It was narrated that 'Aishah said:` "When the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) saw something he liked, he would say: 'Al-hamdu lillahil-ladhi bi ni'matihi tatimmus-salihat (Praise is to Allah by Whose grace good deeds are completed).' And if he saw something that he disliked, he would say: 'Al-hamdu lillahi 'ala kulli hal (Praise is to Allah in all circumstances).'"

The mentioned narration has been declared weak in its chain (isnad) by our esteemed researcher, whereas other scholars have considered it hasan (good) due to supporting evidences, and have discussed it in detail. From this, it is understood that although the narration is weak in its chain, it becomes acceptable for practice and as proof due to other supporting evidences.

Even in difficulties and calamities, there is always some aspect of Allah’s favor, for example:
When a servant is patient, he becomes deserving of reward and elevated ranks. In this regard, at the time of calamity, one should thank Allah, not complain.
