´It was narrated from Abu Darda that the Prophet(ﷺ) said:` "Shall I not tell you of the best of your deeds, the most pleasing to your Sovereign, those that raise you most in status, that are better than your gold and silver, or meeting you enemy (in battle) and you strike their necks and they strike your necks?" They said: " WHat is that, O Messenger of Allah?" He said: "Remembering Allah(Dhikr)."

Benefits and Issues:

The foundation of every action is sincerity (ikhlas) for Allah and remembrance of Him.
And the purpose of all major acts of worship is to express servitude before Allah and to remember Him, as He has stated:
“Establish the prayer for My remembrance.”
In Hajj, the talbiyah is an important remembrance (dhikr) that continues uninterrupted for a long period.
Regarding sacrifice, it is stated:
“So that they may mention the name of Allah over what He has provided them of cattle.”
Regarding the days of sacrifice, the Prophetic statement is:
“Allah has given them cattle, so mention Allah’s name over them.”
Regarding the days of sacrifice, the Prophetic statement is:
“These are days of eating, drinking, and remembering Allah.” (Sahih Muslim, Book of Fasting, Chapter: The Prohibition of Fasting on the Days of Tashreeq..., Hadith: 1141)

Even in jihad, blessings are attained due to sincerity and remembrance (dhikr), so after describing the method of performing prayer during jihad, it is stated:
“When you have finished the prayer, then remember Allah standing, sitting, and lying on your sides.”

Prayer, fasting, zakat, and jihad each have their own benefits due to which the performance of these acts is also necessary; however, the remembrance of Allah (dhikr) is the driving spirit for acts of worship.

Explanation:
1:
From this hadith, it is understood that the remembrance (dhikr) of Allah is the greatest means of salvation from Allah’s punishment,
because dhikr
is the name for keeping the words of the Lord of the worlds’ oneness (tawhid),
His praise,
glorification, and exaltation, etc., constantly present on the heart and tongue.
