´It was narrated from Jabir that the Messenger of Allah(ﷺ) said:` "Put dust on your writings, because it is better, and dust is blessed (being humble in correspondence brings good results)."

´Narrated Jabir:` that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "When one of you writes something, then let him Yutarrib (smeared with dust to dry the ink) it, for that is more conducive to the need."

Explanation: 1: If the writing is clear and untarnished, not spread out or corrupted, then the purpose for which it was written can be expected to be achieved quickly.
Note: (In the chain of narration, Hamzah bin Amr is abandoned in hadith, and Abu Zubair al-Makki is a mudallis, and the narration is with ‘an‘anah. In the chain of Ibn Majah, there is Baqiyyah, and the narration is from Abu Ahmad Dimashqi, who is unknown.) (Weak) (al-Da‘ifah: 1738)
