Benefits and Issues:
Both of these narrations are weak, therefore they are not suitable for use as evidence. However, from other proofs, the nature of the issue becomes clear: it is permissible to remove the hair below the navel and from the armpits in any manner. However, plucking the armpit hair is recommended (mustahabb), because there is a command for their cleanliness. As for removing hair from other parts of the body, this may fall under the warning against altering the creation of Allah (taghyir li-khalqillah).

In addition, this also results in resemblance to women.

For these two reasons, removing hair from other parts of the body is prohibited and impermissible.

And Allah knows best.
