Hadith Takhrij«
Brief Explanation
1؎ : Sleeping on the belly resembles the people of Hell; in the Qur'an it is stated: «يوم يسحبون في النار على وجوههم ذوقوا مس سقر» (Surah al-Qamar: 48), meaning they will be dragged on their faces into Hell. This is also a reason for its prohibition.

Benefits and Issues:
➊ Lying on the stomach is prohibited.
➋ In view of the status and rank of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, and the love and reverence for the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam in the hearts of the noble Companions radi Allahu anhum, this manner of admonition was appropriate for the Messenger of Allah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam. However, it is not suitable for an ordinary person to inform his companion of an issue by kicking him.
➌ It is permissible to show strictness in an appropriate manner at the appropriate time.
➍ The manner of strictness should be such that the addressee feels that this admonition also contains an aspect of love and guidance, and that the intention is not merely to vent anger.
