Hadith 3670

حَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ , حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ , عَنْ فِطْرٍ , عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ , عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ , قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " مَا مِنْ رَجُلٍ تُدْرِكُ لَهُ ابْنَتَانِ , فَيُحْسِنُ إِلَيْهِمَا مَا صَحِبَتَاهُ أَوْ صَحِبَهُمَا , إِلَّا أَدْخَلَتَاهُ الْجَنَّةَ " .
´It was narrated from Ibn Abbas that the Messenger of Allah(ﷺ) said:` "There is no man whose two daughters reach the age of puberty and he treats them kindly for the time they are together, but they will gain him admittance to Paradise."

Hadith Takhrij «تفرد بہ ابن ماجہ ، ( تحفة الأشراف : 5681 ، ومصباح الزجاجة : 1278 ) ، وقد أخرجہ : مسند احمد ( 1/235 ، 363 ) ( حسن ) » ( سند میں ابو سعید ضعیف راوی ہیں ، لیکن شاہد کی وجہ سے یہ حسن ہے ، نیز ملاحظہ ہو : تراجع الألبانی : رقم : 382 )

Benefits and Issues:
“The phrase ‘as long as he remains with them’” means that until they are married, or until they pass away before marriage, he should treat them well, give them a good upbringing, and fulfill their legitimate needs.

“The phrase ‘as long as he remains with them’” also means that if they pass away before being married and he continues to treat them well until his own death, then he will enter Paradise.
