´It was narrated from Suraqah bin Malik that the Prophet(ﷺ) said:` "Shall I not tell you of the best charity? A daughter who comes back to you and has no other breadwinner apart from you." (Daif)

Benefits and Issues:

The mentioned narration is considered weak by almost all researchers; however, the issue stated in the hadith is supported by the generalities of other narrations.

Therefore, after marrying off the daughter, her expenses are no longer the responsibility of the father.

Spending on the daughter and her young children is a cause of great reward.

Spending on one’s sister, niece (sister’s daughter), and niece (brother’s daughter) is likewise a meritorious act.
➍
If a widow is not a relative, even then, taking care of her and her orphaned children in case of poverty is a great virtue.
