حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ أَبِي الْخَصِيبِ , حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ , عَنْ مُبَارَكٍ , عَنْ الْحَسَنِ , عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ الْحُصَيْنِ , أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ , رَأَى رَجُلًا فِي يَدِهِ حَلْقَةٌ مِنْ صُفْرٍ , فَقَالَ : " مَا هَذِهِ الْحَلْقَةُ ؟ " , قَالَ : هَذِهِ مِنَ الْوَاهِنَةِ , قَالَ : " انْزِعْهَا فَإِنَّهَا لَا تَزِيدُكَ إِلَّا وَهْنًا " .
´It was narrated from ‘Imran bin Husain that the Prophet (ﷺ) saw a man with a brass ring on his hand. He said:` “What is this ring?” He said: “It is for Wahinah.”* He said: “Take it off, for it will only increase you in weakness.”
Brief Explanation
1؎ : «واہنہ» : It is a rheumatic pain that occurs in the arm or elsewhere, which causes a feeling of weakness.
2؎ : Amulets, charms, magic spells, and every such practice that is not established from the Book of Allah or the Sunnah of the Messenger is forbidden and impermissible.
