´It was narrated from ‘Imran bin Husain that the Prophet (ﷺ) saw a man with a brass ring on his hand. He said:` “What is this ring?” He said: “It is for Wahinah.”* He said: “Take it off, for it will only increase you in weakness.”

Brief Explanation
1؎ : «واہنہ» : It is a rheumatic pain that occurs in the arm or elsewhere, which causes a feeling of weakness.
2؎ : Amulets, charms, magic spells, and every such practice that is not established from the Book of Allah or the Sunnah of the Messenger is forbidden and impermissible.

Benefits and Issues: Wahnah is a disease, in which there is pain in a vein of the arm. The Arabs used to tie a particular kind of bead on the arm as a treatment for it. One should avoid such superstitions.
