Hadith 3514

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ , حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ إِدْرِيسَ , عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عُمَارَةَ , عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ , أَنَّ خَالِدَةَ بِنْتَ أَنَسٍ أُمَّ بَنِي حَزْمٍ السَّاعِدِيَّةَ : جَاءَتْ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " فَعَرَضَتْ عَلَيْهِ الرُّقَى , فَأَمَرَهَا بِهَا " .
It as narrated from Abu Bakr bin Muhammad that Khalidah bint Anas, the mother of Banu Hazm As-Sa’idiyyah, came to the Prophet (ﷺ) and recited a Ruqyah to him, and he told her to use it.

Benefits and Issues:
The Messenger of Allah (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) said to the Companions (radi Allahu anhum): "Present your incantations (ruqyah) before me; there is no harm in performing incantations as long as there is no shirk (association of partners with Allah) in its (words)." (Sahih Muslim, Kitab al-Salam, Chapter: There is no harm in incantations as long as there is no shirk in them, Hadith: 2200)
