´It was narrated that Zaid bin Arqam said:` “The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) prescribed Wars (memecyclon tinctorium), Indian aloeswood and olive oil for pleurisy, to be administered through the side of the mouth.”
1؎: «ذات+الجنب»: That is, al-waba’ is a swelling that occurs in the rib, and this illness is very severe, from which death often results. «ورس»: A yellow, fragrant grass; these three medicines are to be mixed together and placed on one side of the mouth. «لدود»: This refers to the medicine that is applied in the patient’s mouth so that it may go down into the stomach.
´Qatadah narrated from Abu 'Abdullah that Zaid bin Arqam said:` "The Prophet (S.A.W) would acclaim oil and Wars for (the treatment of) pleurisy." Qatadah said: "And it is put in the mouth on the side which he is suffering. "

Explanation: 1: The swelling of the rib, which is often fatal.
2: A fragrant yellow-colored grass.
