Hadith 3451

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بِشْرٍ بَكْرُ بْنُ خَلَفٍ , حَدَّثَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ سَهْلٍ , حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو حَمْزَةَ الْعَطَّارُ , عَنْ الْحَسَنِ , عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ , قَالَ : " أُهْدِيَ لِلنَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَسَلٌ , فَقَسَمَ بَيْنَنَا لُعْقَةً لُعْقَةً فَأَخَذْتُ لُعْقَتِي , ثُمَّ قُلْتُ : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ , أَزْدَادُ أُخْرَى , قَالَ : نَعَمْ ".
´It was narrated that Jabir bin ‘Abdullah said:` “Some honey was given as a gift to the Prophet (ﷺ), and he shared among us spoonful by spoonful. I took my spoonful then I said: ‘O Messenger of Allah, can I have another?’ He said: ‘Yes.’”
