بَابُ : مَنْ شَرِبَ الْخَمْرَ فِي الدُّنْيَا لَمْ يَشْرَبْهَا فِي الآخِرَةِChapter: Whoever drinks wine in this world, he will not drink it in the hereafter
Hadith 3374

حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ عَمَّارٍ , حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ حَمْزَةَ , قَالَ : حَدَّثَنِي زَيْدُ بْنُ وَاقِدٍ , أَنَّ خَالِدَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ حُسَيْنٍ حَدَّثَهُ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ , قَالَ : " مَنْ شَرِبَ الْخَمْرَ فِي الدُّنْيَا , لَمْ يَشْرَبْهَا فِي الْآخِرَةِ " .
´Abu Hurairah narrated that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:` “Whoever drinks wine in this world, he will not drink it in the Hereafter.”

Benefits and Issues:
➊ A person can be deprived of certain blessings of Paradise due to sins, even if his other sins are forgiven and he is admitted into Paradise.
➋ Through sincere repentance, even major sins (kabirah) are forgiven.
