´It was narrated that Abu Hurairah said:` “The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) slaughtered a cow on behalf of all his wives who had performed ‘Umrah, during the Farewell Pilgrimage.”

1؎: In one cow or camel, up to seven people can share. In this Hajj, it is likely that seven of the noble wives (azwaj mutahharat) were with you. Or, from the wording of Bukhari and Muslim «ضحّی» ("of sacrifice"), it is understood that you slaughtered it not as a hady (sacrificial animal for Hajj) but as a qurbani (ritual sacrifice), so one cow was sufficient on behalf of the entire household.
