´Yunus bin Maisarah bin Halbas said:` “I went out with Abu Sa’eed Az- Zuraqi, the Companion of the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ), to buy animals or sacrifice.” Yunus said: “Abu Sa’eed pointed to a ram that had some blackness around its ears and jaw, and was neither too big nor too small, and said to me: ‘Buy this one for them, as it seems to resemble the ram of the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ).’”
Explanation & Benefits

Benefits and Issues:
➊ Accompanying an elderly person in matters related to his needs is included in serving and honoring him, and is a source of reward.
➋ The sacrificial animal should not be completely useless; however, if it is not very expensive or outstanding, there is no harm.
➌ The noble Companions (radi Allahu anhum) used to strive that every action of theirs resembled, as much as possible, the action of the Messenger of Allah (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam). For this reason, Imam Ibn Majah (rahimahullah) has declared it recommended (mustahabb) in the title of the chapter.
