It was narrated from Iyas bin Salamah, from his father, that the Prophet (ﷺ) had a (male) camel among his sacrificial animals.

Brief Explanation
1؎ : From this it is understood that the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam would often send she-camels for sacrifice, because among the Arabs the she-camel was considered of greater value and its price was also higher. Therefore, for the sake of Allah, sacrificing such an animal carries greater reward.
