´It was narrated that ‘Abdullah bin ‘Umar said:` “I heard the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) say: ‘Whoever performs Tawaf around the House and prays two Rak’ah, it is as if he freed a slave.’”

Benefits and Issues:
➊
The circumambulation (tawaf) of the Noble Ka'bah is an independent act of worship.
This is such an act of worship that cannot be performed at any other place in the world; therefore, whoever gets the opportunity to go to the Noble Makkah should strive to perform as much tawaf as possible.
➋
Some people, upon reaching Makkah Mukarramah, perform 'umrah repeatedly.
The Messenger of Allah (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) did not do so; rather, except for the 'umrah of Ji'ranah, he traveled from Madinah for the rest of the 'umrahs.
Therefore, instead of performing 'umrah repeatedly, one should perform tawaf repeatedly.
➌
The method of voluntary (nafl) tawaf is the same as that of the tawaf of Hajj and 'umrah.
There is no need to don the ihram (ritual consecration) for it.
One should circumambulate the Noble Ka'bah seven times.
Begin the tawaf from the Black Stone (Hajar al-Aswad) and end at the Black Stone.
After this, perform two units (rak'ahs) of prayer near the Station of Ibrahim (Maqam Ibrahim).
If space is not available there, then perform the two units at any place in the mosque.
This will complete one tawaf.
In this manner, perform as many tawafs as one is able.
