´It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:` “The pilgrims performing Hajj and ‘Umrah are a delegation to Allah. If they call upon Him, He will answer them; and if they ask for His forgiveness, He will forgive them.”

(1) Since these three spend their wealth purely for the sake of Allah’s pleasure and endure the hardships of a long journey, they have been referred to as the guests of Allah. The purpose is to indicate that Allah is very pleased with them.
