Brief Explanation
1؎: That is, always continue to increase your strength in preparation for confronting the warring disbelievers, polytheists, and enemies of Islam, and always remain ready for battle even if there is no war at the moment. This is because it is not known when the enemy might launch an attack; it should not happen that the enemy attacks you in a moment of heedlessness when your strength is diminished and thus overcomes you. It is regrettable that Muslims have, for a long time, set aside the Noble Qur’an; among thousands, not even one Muslim is seen who reads the Qur’an with the intention of understanding it in order to act upon it.
Explanation & Benefits
Maulana Ataullah Sajid
Benefits and Issues:
➊ A Muslim should be superior to the disbelievers in every type of weaponry.

➋ The original meaning of (ramy) is "to throw." In the Prophetic era, the only weapon used from a distance by throwing was the arrow, which is why it is translated as "archery." However, according to its original linguistic meaning, every kind of rifle, gun, Kalashnikov, cannon, and missile, etc., is included in this.

➌ Muslims should pay special attention to such weaponry for their defense that is used from a distance, and they should also prepare the devices for launching them (such as rocket launchers and bomber aircraft, etc.).

Hadith Commentary: Benefits and Issues: If by "the people" is meant the noble Companions (radi Allahu anhum ajma'in), then the meaning will be: I have seen such avoidance of ordinary gatherings as was found among the Companions (radi Allahu anhum ajma'in), and I have observed their manners and conduct. And if by "the people" is meant the people of the circle (i.e., the gathering), then the meaning will be: I saw that they did not like to sit among them, nor did they consider their ways and methods to be good, and for this reason, they sat to one side and did not join them.

Explanation:
1:
"Prepare against them whatever force you can" (al-Anfal: 60)

Note:
(There is an ambiguous narrator in the chain of transmission who does not appear in other chains, but due to corroborating narrations, this narration of the author is sahih li-ghayrihi [authentic due to supporting evidence]).

Benefits and Issues:
(Rami) means to throw something in order to hit a target. The mention of archery here is symbolic; rather, the intended meaning is that, as a Muslim, it is necessary to acquire training in the use of contemporary weaponry.
And among these, weapons that are used by launching or shooting are the most important.
